1. Introduction

Welcome to YumCrush ("App," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application and related services.

By downloading, accessing, or using YumCrush, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Description of Service

YumCrush helps users:

• Manage their home inventory and ingredients
• Discover recipes tailored to their preferences, diets, and allergies
• Interact with an AI cooking assistant
• Share family shopping lists and pantry information

The App is provided for personal and non-commercial use only.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use YumCrush. If you are under 18, you may use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

4. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account using:

• Email and password
• Or third-party login (Google, Apple)

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of YumCrush are available via paid subscriptions ("Premium Features").

• Purchases are processed securely through Apple App Store and Google Play Billing.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription via your platform's account settings.
• We do not process or store payment card information directly.

6. User Content

You may upload or generate content such as:

• Photos of your fridge or ingredients
• Family chat messages and shopping lists
• AI chat messages
• Profile pictures

You retain ownership of your content. However, by uploading it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and process it solely for the purpose of providing the App's functionality.

You agree not to upload or share content that:

• Violates laws, copyrights, or privacy rights
• Contains hate speech, nudity, or abusive material
• Interferes with the operation of the App or its users

We may remove any content that violates these rules at our discretion.

7. Use of AI Features

The App uses OpenAI's API to provide recipe generation and conversational assistance. By using these AI features, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your messages may be transmitted to OpenAI for processing
• Responses may not always be accurate or appropriate
• You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated information before relying on it

YumCrush and its developer are not liable for any actions or decisions made based on AI responses.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the App
• Access the App through unauthorized means or automate its functions
• Upload harmful code, viruses, or scripts
• Use the App for unlawful or commercial purposes

Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your account.

9. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our data collection and processing practices are explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the App, you agree to the processing of your data as described there.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting [email protected].

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Misuse the App or engage in harmful activity

Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately, and your data will be deleted within a reasonable period.

11. Intellectual Property

All rights, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property related to YumCrush (except user content) are owned by Aleksandr Miroshnichenko. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.

12. Disclaimers

YumCrush is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will always be available or error-free
• AI suggestions will be accurate or suitable for every user
• Stored data will never be lost (though we take all reasonable security measures)

You use the App at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or reputation
• Any reliance on AI-generated or user-submitted content

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the use of the App during the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" and notify users through the App or website. By continuing to use YumCrush after changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be handled in the competent courts of the UAE.
